Pic of The Dalai Lama at the Liberty Bell - not related to the below quote
“My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.”
—His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, The 14th Dalai Lama (see WikiQuote or Wikipedia)

Being fairly new to Buddhism I haven’t quite learned enough to feel knowledgeable, but I have come across several websites that captured my attention or answered some of my weird questions. I decided to create a directory of them, both for myself and for others who are walking a similar path. If you have a website you’d like listed here please let me know.

Common Tables Global Interfaith Initiative

From their website: www.commontables.org

“Common Tables is a Colorado-based organization with a global vision of peaceful coexistence. The goal of Common Tables is to bring together people of all faiths and cultures through a worldwide framework of 3 million people by the end of 2008. Our objective is to establish 750,000 small dinner groups that overcome barriers, misconceptions, and fear-based thinking about diversity and inclusion to recognize one single truth – we have much more in common than we do in difference. Common Tables members are making great friends while satisfying an insatiable appetite for learning, growing – and great food. In a short time, these small group interactions will generate the momentum needed for respect and understanding to circle the world.”
